Our house is now empty. I had to eat breakfast with a makeshift table, made from a box, and of course from a plastic bowl with plastic spoon. Sleeping on an air matress is not as fun as you would think, especially if it has a small hole in it and loses air throughout the night. But we are making due. When you have no T.V. or internet, you find ways of entertaining yourselves, such as putting tape on your cat and watching him walk funny. I wish I would have taken a video of that. Only 15 more days and we are out of here.

ReplyDeleteI once read a book called: "la noche en que volvimos a ser gente", it translate to "The night that we became people again". It was about a storm cutting all electrical power on the city so everyone had to find ways to entertain themselves and socialize with the neighbors. This post reminds me of that...
